August was wet, wet ,wet! Our season was supposed to start at Geelong SJC show held at Werribee but due to all the rain the arenas where very boggy so we decided not to risk our horses and not start them. The following weekend it great to back competing and thank you to the Border District Show Jumping Club for putting on a great weekend at the Albury Equestrian Centre. The weather wasn’t ideal but the arena was fantastic with lots of great jumping. Cavalli Park Annibell was 3rd in the 1.35m and all the other ponies jumped well.
On the last Sunday of the month we, went to the Tatura Classic run by the Goulburn Valley Showjumping Club. El Nino Vivace and Michelle won the 1.20m and Paul and CP Aliyah placing 5th in the Mini Prix.
Thank you to our wonder women Shannon Kelly for getting out of her sick bed at 3.30am to come and help us at the show.
We now look forward to a big September with the Boneo Cup, Australian Championships and Melbourne Royal.
